Membership Card Information

PLEASE RETAIN THE NCGA MEMBERSHIP CARD THAT YOU RECEIVED IN 2005.

NCGA plastic membership cards will no longer be issued on a yearly basis. Please retain the membership card that you received in 2005. Cards will only be generated for new members or for replacement orders.

During the NCGA Annual Fall Renewal Period, NCGA membership cards are not issued because the NCGA is not billing the club for 2005 membership dues.

Orders for replacements cards during the renewal period will be accepted but cards for new members and replacement orders will not be issued until January. If an active member has a card lost or stolen during the Annual Fall Renewal Period, NCGA will submit a verification sheet on the member’s behalf to Poppy Hills and Poppy Ridge.

NCGA members who have not yet received their membership card may receive Poppy Hills discounts with their NCGA/GHIN Membership number and photo I.D. Poppy Hills has access to the latest membership information and can confirm the status of an individual’s membership. Poppy Ridge does NOT have access to such current information at this time (Poppy Ridge’s information is updated once a month). It may be necessary to contact the NCGA Office days in advance of a Poppy Ridge visit in order to secure discounts. Photo I.D. will be required at Poppy Ridge.

Multi-Member Rebate Information

Over the past two years the number of rebate submissions has dropped 43% to an all-time low and to a point where only a little over 6% of those eligible for a rebate have applied. This drastic decline coupled with the high cost and resources necessary to process applications, caused the program to be discontinued in 2006.

Membership cards are for the exclusive use of the individual named on the card and may not be transferred or loaned to another member or nonmember for use at Poppy Hills or Poppy Ridge. Any abuse/misuse of a membership card will result in the confiscation of the card and suspension of NCGA services.
